Chip and Registration Verification
The purpose of Chip and Registration Verification is to ensure that all information about our runners is correct. If you register before 6:00 pm eastern time on November 2nd, your packet will be mailed to you. Please verify your name, age, sex, bib number and chip identifier with the information on the mailing label. The chip Identifier is a 2 digit code located on the back side of the chip. This only applies to chips that are mailed to you and is not for your own Champion Chip.
If you register online after midnight on November 6th eastern time then you must pick up your packet.

To see a complete list of Bib Numbers and their associated 2 digit Chip IDs, please visit the Chip Listings page. This applies to chips that are mailed to runners and walkers, not your Champion Chip.
Consider Contributing your Chip to Charity
The one time chip that you will be wearing in the race is yours to keep. This has always been our intention. However, if you don't want it as a souvenir, the race committee can get a $1.50 refund for the chip from the manufacturer. This would be an additional donation to our list of charities. You will find barrels past the water as you exit the race course. Do not stop in the shutes to remove the chip. Rather walk past the water and move over to the side of the road to unthread the chip from your shoe. Again this is an Optional donation to charity. Have a great time on Thanksgiving.
